When Hope Seems Far Gone

There are periods in this life where we experience the unknown, its called the tunnel. Sometimes you have a hard time seeing and it may feel like everything is closing in on you. This tunnel may feel like miles and miles away. It can seem cold, dark and dry. But as your eyes adjust you can see a little bit of light seeping in. You know that because you saw that glimmer of light 💡 there is freedom on the other side. Sometimes you may feel like you are in a pit and everything in your life is in full chaos mode. Maybe you feel like you dont know how you are going to get through this situation. Maybe you have allowed unbelief to steal your hope regarding the promises. So what is Hope? Hope is a feeling of expectation or desire for something to happen. Its okay to have hope when things are going right but what about when they are wrong. Romans 15:13 says " May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope". Jesus created us with hope but he also desired for us to grow in our faith to trust him in every circumstance. You may be on the verge of giving up. Maybe he took you through that tunnel to teach you patience or to remove something in your life. I want you to know that there is hope at the end of the tunnel and his name is Jesus. The moment we look up and see the light, we realize that what was troubling us was temporary. Even when you hope seems far gone, God has a way of restoring it ! When we open his word he begins to speak and in that moment we are no longer weary or fustrated. We have the strength to mount up like eagles. Say this prayer below:

Heavenly Father, I am your humble servant, I come before you today in need of hope. There are times when I fell helpless, There are times when I feel weak. I pray for hope. I need hope for a better future. I need hope for a better life. I need hope for love and kindness. Some say that the sky is at it’s darkest just before the light. I pray that this is true, for all seems dark. I need your light, Lord, in every way. I pray to be filled with your light from head to toe. To bask in your glory. To know that all is right in the world, as you have planned, and as you want it to be. Help me to walk in your light, and live my life in faith and glory. In your name, I pray, Amen.
